About the Training

Our 75th Training completed on January 15, 2012. There are now 1,240 Facilitators in 24 countries, including 45 USA states, 6 provinces of Canada, and in Australia, China, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Greece, Japan, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Switzerland, South Africa, and Venezuela. It's an exciting time to join this diverse, creative community.
SoulCollage® Facilitators use SoulCollage® with groups of friends, in churches, women's groups, spas, and libraries. Some are using SoulCollage® in homeopathy, executive and life coaching, schools, writing groups, seniors' life review, cancer support groups, and hospice. The therapists and art therapists among them are working with SoulCollage® with organizational development, with couples therapy, trauma recovery, addiction recovery, pain management, teenagers, at risk children, and with grief and loss. We are constantly amazed at the unique and new ways SoulCollage® Facilitators discover to use SoulCollage® creatively and effectively.

We offer a certificate of completion to those completing the weekend Training and permit these persons to use the name "SoulCollage®" and call themselves "SoulCollage® Facilitators." We do not "certify SoulCollage® Facilitators". Certifying Facilitators would require greater time in training and supervision than can be provided in a one-weekend training.
This course meets the qualifications for 18 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. A certificate of attendance will be provided by SoulCollage Inc. #4889. Any participant who is licensed in another state must check with that state's licensing board to determine if credits granted in this course will be accepted by that board.
Participants register on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register as early as possible to be sure to be included for the training dates you prefer.
Preparation and Pre-Requisites
No degree or certification is required to take this training, but Seena Frost requires that participants prepare by reading SoulCollage® Evolving, listening to Seena's two talks about SoulCollage® on audiotapes (or CDs) and beginning to make SoulCollage® cards for their own decks in each suit, so that they can get experience with their own card-making before working with others learning to make cards. Seena requests that participants bring all their SoulCollage® cards when they come for the Training.
Inside a SoulCollage® Training
SoulCollage® Facilitator Training in Palm Springs, CA, led by Kat Kirby, SoulCollage® Facilitator and Trainer from San Diego. A group of women spent the weekend learning how to use the SoulCollage® process within their communities.
Seena B. Frost, M. Div., M.A., M.F.T. studied theology at Yale Divinity School, married, raised four children, and then received a Master's degree in psychology from Santa Clara University. She is a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Special trainings with Jean Houston and Robin Van Doren inspired the combining of three of her life passions: spirituality, psychotherapy, and creativity. The SoulCollage® process and the SoulCollage® book, have issued from this magical mix.
A staff of SoulCollage® Trainers assists Seena B. Frost in her Trainings. Most of these SoulCollage® Trainers also hold their own Trainings in diverse geographical areas. Click here to see a list of these trainers.
I have gained an enormous amount from this weekend -- it is the most profoundly moving workshop/training I've ever had. I plan to continue to utilize SoulCollage® in my hospice bereavement groups, as well as in private individual and group work, and of course with interested friends and family. The SoulCollage® Registered Trademark

The word "SoulCollage" has been registered as a trademark in order to differentiate the process from other collage processes and to provide the training, supervision, and community support we feel would be important to ethical work in groups with the cards. We ask that people only use the phrases SoulCollage® Facilitator or SoulCollage® Group if they have been trained by Seena Frost, author of SoulCollage®. Others may say in their advertising that they will be working in the group using the process of SoulCollage® as described in Seena B. Frost's book, SoulCollage®. It seems a small distinction, but it is important to us to use the trademark in certain ways that will gradually become recognizable to people as the work spreads.
