Biography
Karen Mann is an artist, art teacher, as well as a Lifestyle Coach and yoga and meditation teacher. Karen uses creative techniques to promote self-expression and self-discovery, and was so excited about discovering SoulCollage® that she travelled to the States in June 2004 to be trained as a facilitator in this amazing process. Since returning to Melbourne, Australia, Karen has been sharing the joy of SoulCollage® with a variety of groups and individuals.
Description of SoulCollage® work
I believe that being connected with your creativity and passion allows you to feel alive, inspired and revitalised and helps you to live a fulfilled life. I use the SoulCollage® process to assist participants to connect with their inner artist and intuitive wisdom. SoulCollage® helps you to connect with your authentic self, to discover what you want from life and shift any blockages that might be stopping you from achieving this. I work with small groups, offering regular 1-day introductory workshops, 1-day workshops for more experienced “SoulCollagers” and an ongoing group that meets weekly. I also use SoulCollage® in my life coaching work with individual clients.
Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards
Making SoulCollage® cards has become very addictive; it is now a very important part of my life. I find that making cards keeps my creative juices flowing and inspires me not only in my art but also life in general. Making cards can serve as a cathartic release and/or the cards can help me gain understanding of (and honour) my many intricate & complicated parts. Making SoulCollage® cards is also great FUN! Reading my SoulCollage® cards has also have a profound affect on my life, my knowledge of myself and my ability to make the right decisions for me. The synchronicities that I’ve become aware of since I’ve begun working with my cards have been amazing. I’m learning to always trust my intuition & pay attention to any “omens” that cross my path.
