Biography
With an undergraduate degree in Art Education and Ceramics, and a Master's Degree in Art Therapy, I am continually fascinated at the profound work of my clients using the arts in their healing. SoulCollage® is a perfect fit in the world of the Expressive Arts Therapies, as it helps people find a way to express who they are through imagery and voice, using the phrase "I Am One Who". I enjoy taking SoulCollage® "on the road" and have offered workshops and trainings at colleges and retreat centers from San Diego to Arizona to New Mexico, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and soon Florida and France!
Description of SoulCollage® work
My SoulCollage® "Open Studios" give space for people to make cards, share ideas, do readings and more. I offer a couple of "Introduction to SoulCollage®" workshops every year, and I have led workshops for the American Art Therapy Association, at their annual conference and at the local level in both northern and southern California. Now offering retreats and trainings in a variety of locations, I believe in the healing power of the arts, and find SoulCollage® to be a welcome addition to my Art Therapy work. In 2009 I became a Facilitator Trainer, and am offering trainings in Amelia Island, FL, Prescott, AZ and ??. Please contact me if you would like to discuss the possibility of my traveling to your area to offer a Training!

Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards
I enjoy continually creating and building my deck of cards, and I consult them for understanding and inspiration. In working with groups, doing readings and delving into the imagery, I find this process to be soul-nurturing and profound. I am seeing new patterns emerge, new relationships between cards, and am finding new ways of working with the cards that continually amaze and inspire me!
Other Notes
I teach courses and mentor students in the Expressive Arts Therapies at Prescott College in Arizona. SoulCollage® is often an important addition to my course offerings. I have just begun a PhD program in "Advanced Studies in Human Behavior" at Capella University, and plan on incorporating SoulCollage® into my dissertation.

Imagine spending nearly a week in a beautiful house near the historic walled city of Carcassonne in France. Now picture yourself making SoulCollage® cards in community, learning more about suits and Transpersonal cards, doing readings, as well as taking a walk in the countryside, sipping local wines, riding a bike, visiting a French market.....we will be doing all of that in May of 2012. We will be exploring all aspects of the SoulCollage® process. Our home for the week is a comfortable, spacious house ouside the city limits, with a pool, chef and transportaion provided. Come join us in this gorgeous location for an experience you'll remember always!
$1575 includes all workshop supplies and materials, housing in a double room, all meals including wine, trips to the market and walled city of Carcassonne....everything except airfare.
Your deposit of $300 will hold a space for you for this wonderful SoulCollage® experience in France.

If you have decided it's time for you to share your SoulCollage® journey with your community, then come join me in a SoulCollage® Facilitator Training weekend in beautiful Prescott, Arizona.
You might be curious about how to lead groups in this process, how to use it in a therapeutic setting, how to work one on one with clients. SoulCollage® is not "therapy" per se, but can be used by therapists and counselors in their practice very effectively. As a Registered Art Therapist, I have found SoulCollage® to be a wonderful way for clients and group participants to work with and give voice to images, and to acknowledge all the parts of the self by creating collages. You do not need to be a therapist or counselor to get the most out of this Training, and I welcome people from all backgrounds and from all walks of life, as I know how the magical and transformational process of SoulCollage® captures the imaginations of participants.
Come join this Training in my new studio setting up in the mountains. At 5,000 feet in the high desert near Sedona, we will explore the suits, enjoy the guided meditation to find the animal energies in our chakras, spend time in circle, sharing and questioning and learning.
