Description of SoulCollage® work
I have co-facilitated SoulCollage® Facilitator Trainings with Seena B. Frost since the first one held in September 2003. I have a deck of of about 6 dozen SoulCollage® cards which I cherish. I published Seena Frost's SoulCollage® books and CDs through my company, Hanford Mead Publishers, Inc. and now enjoy tremendously my work (with Jim) that connects me with the many wonderful people throughout the world who are creating this SoulCollage® community through shared leadership.
Trainer Statement
My first experience of making cards at Seena's house was deeply satisfying. I felt I had made meaning for myself with art, that I had "nailed" something that had been previously inexpressible with words by collaging those first few cards. I wanted to talk from them, show my friends what I had done, and just look at them a lot. It made me happy to have these cards and know they would be growing from a few cards into a large and diverse SoulCollage® deck.
I have never encountered any process that is so easy and fun, yet so capable of being as deep and profound as one needs it to be. As a practice it can and does transform lives. I have watched SoulCollage® at work with people since 1998. Making cards and reading them honors people, changes them, makes them more of who they were meant to be, connects them to the healer within, and lets them create more intimacy in relationship within small community groups or with the people to whom they choose to show their cards. All the while they are having fun and working with a very satisfying and absorbing collage process that anyone can do.
Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards
I've made SoulCollage® cards since 1998. It was my love of and satisfaction with this personal process that moved me (and my partner, Jim Schofield) to publish the book and help Seena nurture the wonderful SoulCollage® Community. My favorite thing is when I make and share cards with close friends, family, and, especially, with my grandchildren.
