18b east market st
give yourself the gift of self-discovery and experience the joy of SoulCollage®! part art project, part spiritual practice, SoulCollage® allows you to deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationship to others. open to beginners and those with soul collage experience. first time participants should arrive at 5:30 for an introduction to SoulCollage® (no additional charge).
just like on halloween when we enjoy the opportunity to act out aspects of ourselves that rarely see the light of day, we can use our soul collage cards to give voice to our fantasies and fears. each part of us has the potential and the freedom to lose our balance. SoulCollage® “sees our “shadow” not as something negative, but as vital, primitive energy that is out of balance.” in this workshop we will create cards to represent the shadow parts of our personality. as we speak from these images, we bring the shadow into the light of our awareness, returning us to balance, and putting their powerful energy to good use.
soul collage is both creative expression and portal to your inner world which can guide you in making important life decisions. in a fun, creative, and relaxing environment, you’ll begin or continue working on your own personal deck of collaged cards, that one at a time, will reveal the many facets of your unique self. the collaged cards we make in this workshop instantly become a resource for us to access our higher wisdom. each one becomes part of an expanding deck of personal cards that organized in suits, reflects the multiple voices that guide us in how we live our lives.
no art or soulcollage® experience necessary! just bring your intuition, imagination and sense of play! you will take home finished cards—and no doubt a love for this extraordinary process.
led by cathy gins: artist; designer; educator; healer; and certified SoulCollage® facilitator.
