The Presentation Center is an eco-friendly peaceful oasis tucked among the redwoods on 67 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Los Gatos, just 20 minutes from Silicon Valley. The Center offers nature trails and contemplative walking paths around the field or the lake. Renowned for their superb meals, all home-cooked, the chef uses organic food harvested from their garden. Their new “Green” Welcoming Center reflects their commitment to environmental values and education. It is one of only three “Gold Standard” LEED certified buildings in Santa Clara County.

WORK-STUDY OPPORTUNITIES

NOTE: Work Study positions for this Training have been filled.
Please email Alia
if you would like to be added to a cancellation list.

SoulCollage® is very interested in making it possible for people to take this Training if they cannot afford it otherwise, and if they will be facilitating SoulCollage® with people who also might not have access to it otherwise. If this applies to you, we offer two work-study options available for 50% off the current training fee of $450. The responsibilities include: (1) being ready to help at 11:00 am on Friday, (having already checked in), with set up and also with break down at 1:00 pm - 2:30 on Sunday and (2) helping with set up of chairs, art supplies, and other tasks at meal breaks and breaks between workshop sessions. These tasks involve some lifting.

If you are accepted as a work-study participant, you will be responsible for the full cost of your accommodations and $225 for the September training. If you are unable to fulfill your work-study agreement at the training, we require that you repay the balance of the training fee, $225, within one year.

TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY

A full refund, less a $50 processing fee, is given at the cancellation of a SoulCollage® Facilitator Training registration if the cancellation is received up to two weeks prior to the training. This processing fee applies to all payments, whether a deposit or a payment in full.

No refund or credit is given for cancellations made with less than two weeks notice, if you fail to attend, or if you leave the event early, unless someone is able to take your place at short notice. Some exceptions may be made for sudden incapacitating illness or family emergencies.

You may also apply a credit toward a new SoulCollage® training led by Seena Frost held within the next 12 months. You will still pay only the original training fee of $450 even if this fee is increased in the future. If you must make a last minute cancellation, you also have the option of offering your payment toward a scholarship fund which we are building to support the work.

SCHEDULE AND WHAT TO BRING

The workshop begins with registration from 1:00-2:00 on Friday (the training begins at 2:00) and ends about 1:00 pm on Sunday. Mornings begin with breakfast at 8:00. There are sessions both evenings until about 9:00 or 9:30 pm. Make your travel plans to permit your attendance at all sessions. In order to receive a completion certificate all sessions must be attended.

Be sure to bring all your SoulCollage cards. You do not need to bring images as those will be provided. If you are using 5 x 8 inch cards there will be blanks provided. If your cards are another size, bring some blanks. Glue and scissors will be provided, but you can bring your own if you have special ones you like. (Don’t take scissors in your carry-on!)

Bring layers of clothes as the weather can vary from quite warm to quite cool. Rain gear and an umbrella are a good idea. Socks or slippers might be nice. You might like to have a refillable water bottle, and a flashlight is useful for guiding you around the grounds at night.

Please do not wear perfume, essential oils or other scents as a courtesy to people who have environmental sensitivities.

PREPARATION AND PRE-REQUISITES

"WaterBearer" by Seena Frost

No degree or certification are necessary to take this training, but Seena Frost requires that participants prepare by reading the book, listening to her two talks about SoulCollage® on audiotapes (or CDs) and beginning to make SoulCollage cards for their own decks in each suit, so that they can get experience with their own card-making before working with others learning to make cards. Seena requests that participants bring all their SoulCollage cards when they come for the Training. It is also helpful to read Seena's article on "The Transpersonal Cards of the SoulCollage® Deck."

Persons who complete the SoulCollage® Training will receive a certificate of completion and may use the SoulCollage® trademark in doing individual or group work according to the Principles of SoulCollage®. Thus, SoulCollage trains, rather than "certifies", facilitators.
