Suzie Wolfer LCSW: Not counting that day in second grade when one of my school-mates came up to me on the playground asking for help with a problem she was having at home, my passion for working with people started in 1985 when I began offering counseling professionally. Whether in the main stream, leading SoulCollage® at Providence Hospital, in workshops around town, or through my private practice, the 20,000 hours of face to face work with clients, seems to bring both a depth and a lightness to my SoulCollage® workshops. I have also worked in the business world in international trade, as a University research director and as a professional artist and teacher. One client said “Working with you stands at the top of some of the most rewarding work I have ever done. The way you worked with me allowed me to dive deep. You do very good depth work without getting in the way. This is truly a gift. I am grateful.”

SoulCollage® Facilitator Training
Are you a coach, art therapist, social worker, spiritual director, or other helping professional looking for a creative tool to help your clients tap into their intuition and inner wisdom? Do you love helping people grow and change?
Or, are you an artist who's interested in facilitating others' self-discovery through creative processes?
Have you been practicing SoulCollage® for your own personal enrichment and now want to take the next step and share it with your friends, women's group, or church?
Join Suzie Wolfer LCSW and Marilyn McDonald LCSW for three rich and rewarding days as we explore and practice the process of "facilitating SoulCollage®." Whether you're an experienced SoulCollager or are newly discovering the process, this training will give you powerful tools to facilitate SoulCollage® workshops and retreats.
You don't need a degree or other credentials, just enthusiasm for the process and a desire to share SoulCollage® with others.
The weekend will include a lively mix of experiential learning, lecture, reflective writing, and lots of sharing and discussion in both large and small groups. In addition, we will make cards, share cards, do readings, and use our own experiences as teaching examples for the group.
You will learn:
1. How to create a safe, supportive, and sacred space in which participants are empowered to take care of their own well-being and feel free to explore and discover their self through SoulCollage.
2. Ways to facilitate card-making and invite the artist in everyone to come out and play in a judgment-free environment
3. Exercises to use with groups and individuals to help them deepen their understanding of their cards, get practical ideas for facilitating readings
4. Guidelines for modeling and encouraging reflective feedback from participants during readings and card sharing (vs. advice giving or opinion)
5. Ways to use SoulCollage® in ritual and celebration
6. A variety of formats for leading introductory workshops and ways to adapt the process for specific audiences and groups
7. Practical strategies for creating a successful business as a SoulCollage® Facilitator, using affordable internet marketing and other easy to use tools
8. Coaching to support you in creating a personal vision for facilitating SoulCollage that integrates all those skills, abilities and interests you’ve developed over your lifetime

What people have said about Suzie ...
I trust entering a group you facilitate because I know the safe experience you will create. I'm not sure exactly how you do it, but I know that you are conscious in your intention, fully present and lead by example. You build a group where we all know we are accepted and belong - it becomes "our" group. ~ A. B. Hillsboro, Oregon
It's amazing I could do this [SoulCollage] at all. At almost 86 years old, I did not expect to become so excited about learning a new way to understand my life, past and present. ~ H. D. Beaverton, Oregon |
