About the SoulCollage® Facilitator Training
Our SoulCollage Facilitator Trainings
 | | SoulCollage Training Group 2003 |
|
Completing the first training held September 5-7, 2003 in Santa Cruz, CA were 25 SoulCollage® group leaders, artists, therapists, and coaches who came together from England, Alberta, Vancouver, Montana, Massachusetts, Washington state, Oregon, and California.
Our 19th Training completed on June 30, 2008, and we now have a total of 425 facilitators in 35 USA states and Washington, DC, 4 provinces of Canada, and in England, China, Ireland, Italy, Australia, Greece, Japan and South Africa.
These facilitators are using or planning to use SoulCollage in settings such as with groups -- of friends, in churches, women's groups, spas, and libraries. Some are using SoulCollage in homeopathy, executive and life coaching, clairvoyancy training, schools, writing groups, seniors' life review, cancer support groups, and hospice. The therapists among them are working with SoulCollage with organizational development, with couples therapy, trauma recovery, addiction recovery, pain management, teenagers, at risk children, and with grief and loss. We are constantly amazed at the unique and new ways SoulCollage Facilitators discover to use SoulCollage creatively and effectively.
A listserv supports this growing group of Trained Facilitators as they bring SoulCollage® to their communities.
We offer a certificate of completion to those completing the weekend training and permit these persons to use the name "SoulCollage®" and call themselves "SoulCollage® facilitators." We do not "certify SoulCollage facilitators". Certifying facilitators would require greater time in training and supervision than can be provided in a one-weekend training.
This course meets the qualifications for continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and 18 CEUS can be granted.

Please register as early as possible to be sure to be included for the training dates you prefer.
Please check our Next Facilitator Training page frequently as trainings with Seena Frost will be posted there and we will register participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the Facilitator Training, SoulCollage author and California licensed therapist, Seena Frost, MFT, shares from her ten years’ experience how to facilitate making and use SoulCollage cards and SoulCollage card decks with individuals and in groups.
People are excited about learning how to facilitate the SoulCollage process for others. The SoulCollage Faciliator Training is open to anyone who is interested in gathering people into SoulCollage groups or using SoulCollage in already established groups (such as church groups, women’s groups, senior's groups, educational classes), pre-natal families, organizational development, or as an art technique in other kinds of groups, classes, or workshops. Therapists, art therapists, and ministers have also been attracted to learning more about how to use SoulCollage for therapeutic purposes and to support community.
Participants make cards, share cards, and use their own processes as teaching examples for the group in learning how to facilitate SoulCollage work, because the focus in the Training is training rather than card-making per se as in a workshop. We learn how to do "readings" which use our own intuition to deepen self-knowledge. We learn creative applications and how to adapt the process to different populations. We work towards constructing a plan that fits participants’ intended use of the technique. No degree or other credentials are needed to register for this course.
Please contact Kylea Taylor to put your name on this list of those interested in future trainings with Seena Frost, but please also check the Training page as stated above for current information.
In addition to Seena B. Frost and Kylea Taylor, there are several SoulCollage® Facilitator Trainers who work under the auspices of SoulCollage, LLC to train SoulCollage Facilitators in diverse geographical areas. Click here to see a list of these trainers. Trainers

The SoulCollage® Registered Trademark

The word "SoulCollage" has been registered as a trademark in order to differentiate the process from other collage processes and to provide the training, supervision, and community support we feel would be important to ethical work in groups with the cards. We ask that people only use the phrases “SoulCollage facilitator” or “SoulCollage Group” if they have been trained by Seena Frost, author of SoulCollage. Others may say in their advertising that they will be working in the group using the process of SoulCollage® as described in Seena B. Frost's book, SoulCollage. It seems a small distinction, but it is important to us to use the trademark in certain ways that will gradually become recognizable to people as the work spreads. Please read The Principles of SoulCollage® for complete information on the use of this trademark.
What Facilitators have said about their SoulCollage Facilitator Training experience

I couldn't believe how much took place in the space of a few days, and have never come across a process that is so accessible, versatile, and brimming with possibility. In my experience, it is unusual for such deep inner work to occur in such a large group of people who have just met - attributable in no small way to your steadfast and generous presence and openness of heart. I learned a great deal in Santa Cruz, and the learning will continue. I hope (and believe) the day will come when you will have to set out a map the size of a football pitch to hold all the facilitators' pins.
~ Ruth Jacob, County Dublin, IRELAND
I enjoyed each of your energies and teamwork. It was an honor to hear Seena speak about her book and see her cards after reading it, just to be in contact with the direct source of SoulCollage. The Training has deepened and enriched my understanding of the process. I plan to heal myself; create more cards and, hopefully, begin sharing it informally. This was all I hoped for and more. I thank you deeply.
~Sherry McCoy, Lake Oswego, OR
Hip, hip hooray! I was utterly thrilled to witness what can happen when I trust my own unconscious process. I would like to encourage others to enjoy this experience.
~Patria Brown, Davenport, CA
Wow! I’ve gained a tremendous amount of information and confidence in this process. Reading the book and listening to the tapes beforehand was very important.
~Jane Hosey Stern, Olathe, KS
I was surprised to find how vulnerable and open the process made me. It was wonderful to be part of this community. I had a deep, rich understanding of the [SoulCollage] process and a real appreciation for the power of these cards-- I can’t wait to share it.
~Roberta Raye, Marina del Raye, CA
I find it very refreshing in this day and age of cognitive behavioral therapy and quick fixes, that the shadow aspects were all included and accepted.
~Amy Sullivan, Pacifica, CA
I feel affirmed in the work I've been doing and encouraged to do more! I feel connected now to a supportive community of "like minds"!! I now feel I have resources behind me to expand working with SoulCollage -- in regional heart and cancer centers, perhaps. You have given me a great gift!
~ Mary Mathews, Clinton, NY
[I was] very moved by the physical experience of becoming part of the international network of people opening ourselves for ourselves. This Training was a very important introduction to a powerful tool for accessing myself directly -- unmediated...A revolutionary process and tool that I know I will use often...I am grateful to be a part of the SoulCollage community.
~Stephanie O'Leary, Salem OR
It was a great weekend. This work is so simple, yet so profound. I’m very grateful. There aren’t enough words for my appreciation of SoulCollage, the three of you, and the weekend’s experience. Thank you so much.
~Maya Spector, Menlo Park, CA
I am ignited by the process and the use of the cards with myself and clients. I really enjoyed the people I met at the workshop. This beautiful growth process will enrich my life and my clients’ lives.
~Mary Welschmeyer, Monterey, CA
This has been a personally enriching and affirming eperience, so much that even if it hasno impact on my professional life (though I feel it will) I would still consider it to have been a worthwhile experience. I had many prompts and synchronicities pointing me to come here, and I am so glad I follwed them.
~Imelda Maguire, County Donegal, IRELAND
Lovely, wise and fun and wonderful teachers.

This work brings together all the bits and pieces of a lifetime, sorts and honors the lights and shadows, gives permission for expression. Huge, unraveling experience. Old boulders moving, inner kinowing, professional inspiration, confidence!
~anonymous (2006)
WOW, I GOT IT! how this is so powerful, amazing. I am planning to do workshops in the Women's DreamQuest community and with churches all over the place.
~ Gyllian Davies, Vancouver, BC, CANADA
Very powerful and revealing experiences. I was unprepared for the depth of the experience - it must be felt firsthand. Can't wait to return home and begin the process of putting a group together.
~ Ginny Fleming, Los Angeles, CA
I have gained an enormous amount from this weekend -- it is the most profoundly moving workshop/training I've ever had. I plan to continue to utilize SoulCollage in my hospice bereavement groups, as well as in private individual and group work, and of course with interested friends and family.
~Robert Rook, Baltimore, MD
I feel like I have been in the presence of a National Treasure (Seena), and I know I will be creating my own cards and helping others on their journeys for a long, long time. Thank you.
~Kathryn Kirby, San Diego, CA
I experienced the generosity of putting the work "out there" in the world while at the same time holding to/honoring its integrity. It is always powerful and motivating for me to feel part of a community wherein there is a shared commitment to integrity, giving credit, honoring the source, and ethical standards.
~Meo O'Malley, San Diego, CA
The space we created was very empowering -- I felt much more comfortable in my own skin than I have for years. So the process was very healing, and I think all three of you [facilitators] (as well as all of those whohave come before us.)
~Bobbi Critchley, Pacific Grove, CA
I have practiced SoulCollage for a while now, taking long breaks and always coming back to it, but taking this training really challened me to deepen my awarenesss and appreciation of this process in my life. I am eager to share this with whomever I find along the way. Thanks!
~Sani Post, Davis, CA
I will take this work out into the world with love and respect and an intention to keep the integrity of SoulCollage even as it is transformed through me and the new souls it touches.
~Laura Hegfield, Amherst, NH
I felt both nurtured and set free -- a perfect balance.
