Biography
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years’ experience in the counseling field. As a Life Transitions Counselor, my goal is to facilitate healing and personal transformation for those experiencing a major life change/transition.
Description of SoulCollage® work
I came to SoulCollage® five years ago through my efforts to provide an alternative to “talk support” for my colleagues in hospice work. I have since been sharing with others the astounding process that is SoulCollage® through facilitating support groups, conducting instructional and “self-care” trainings for clinical hospice/hospital staff and volunteers, and running workshops and monthly afternoons of card-making and card-reading.
In naming my website "illustrated Soul" some time ago, I looked up the word "illustrate" in the dictionary. It iis from the Latin "illustratus", which means "to purify, make bright". Additonal meanings are: "to enlighten, light up, adorn, clarify, provide explanation visually". So you see, I felt the name I chose was very apt--this is the very definiton of the process of SoulCollageR!
Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards
Through my own exploration with SoulCollage® , I have experienced the kind of personal transformation I have had the privilege to witness in my clients. I feel that I am continually discovering the power of SoulCollage® imagery in the illustration and illumination of my own life journey.

Soulcollage® is a dynamic, interactive, expressive technique that invites self exploration and personal growth. In this workshop, you will be introduced to the elements of SoulCollage®, guided through a process of constructing a small collage; and invited to participate in various exploratory exercises using your collages.
NOTE: Afternoon portion open to those who have completed an introduction to SoulCollage®.
Hours for afternoon portion of workshop: !:00-5:30pm. Cost for afternoon is $50.

Join Roberta Rook, LCPC, for “Afternoons with SoulCollage®”, where we will be making more SoulCollage® cards and expanding our use of the technique through the creation of decks of collaged cards unique to each participant. Card collections will be used for consultations and readings regarding the life questions and concerns of group participants. Group members will have the opportunity to draw on the support, insight, and observations of each participant to enhance and deepen their experience of these “life illustrations”. “Afternoons with SoulCollage®” invite participants to relax, connect, create, and “go gently yet deeply” into their true Essence.
