Biography
Sherry Eberwein, owner of rokARTy studio, facilitates art workshops as a SoulCollage® Facilitator and is the Southern California Regional Coordinator of SoulCollage® Facilitators. She has a BA from San Diego State University in Fine Arts/Social Sciences and a California Standard Teaching Credential, and taught fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in the Chula Vista for 32 years. It is her passion to look at, preserve, record, and educate others about the value of ancient images on stone. She is an active member of the American Rock Art Research Association and a founding member of the San Diego Rock Art Research Association. She has been a student of Expressive Arts Therapy at Sky Mountain Institute and of the energy healing modalities: Yuen Method, Reiki, Matrix Energetics, and Garcia Innergetics. Other artistic interests have included mixed media collage, creating vision boards, photography, and calligraphy. Description of SoulCollage® work
I took my first SoulCollage® Workshop with Kat Kirby in December 2009 and fell in love with it. Spending a week at Ghost Ranch in 2010 where Kat Kirby facilitated SoulCollage® and attending the 2011 SoulCollage® Facilitators' Conference in Maryland were both wonderful experiences for growth with my personal SoulCollage® work and for connecting with the SoulCollage® Community. My desire is to share the gifts and depth that SoulCollage® has to offer: creativity, self knowledge, spiritual essence, chakra and archetypal information, and animal energies. The intuitive information that is available through readings continues to amaze me. I am currently working with the "Fearless Love Outreach" Registration Committee for the 2013 SoulCollage® Facilitators' Conference.
Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards
My personal work with my own SoulCollage® cards is changing. Choosing a card or two per day gives me information. I may need to journal or communicate with a person who is imaged on my Community Card. Consulting my cards with a reading to answer a question I have, has been helpful. I love seeing clients gain personal knowledge and enjoyment from making new cards during my workshops. Other Southern California SoulCollage® Facilitators have given me insights through our quarterly meetings and monthly Readings Gatherings. During 2012, I have been actively involved with Cat Caracelo's VisionQuest 2012 Online Class and I will be taking Judith Goldberg's Scorpion Time Class using SoulCollage® and Astrology. Reading Soul Treasures weekly from Anne Marie Bennett's KaleidoSoul.com and her many other offerings has been a wonderful resource.

SoulCollage® is a process for creating your own personal deck of cards using imagery, imagination, and intuition. Each card depicts a different aspect of your personality. SoulCollage® is ideal for those who love mixed media art and for individuals seeking clarity in their lives, especially during times of transition. During this class all participants will learn the elements of SoulCollage® and the process for making cards by intuitively collecting magazine images and then collaging them onto 5 x 8 mat boards. A journaling technique and structured sharing using the phrase “I am one who” will be used to enhance each card’s meaning. A method for reading the cards to answer solution centered questions will be taught. All materials provided. No artistic skill or experience necessary.

The Community Suit, or the communal dimension, is for the people and pets who have loved you, taught you, and challenged you. These people can be family, ancestors, friends, teachers, healers. You may know them personally, or you may only know them through their art, writing, or special accomplishments. They may be alive or dead. Relationships are honored in this suit, and your support system is represented here. In this workshop, we will focus on your personal community and you will have time to make cards for them. Community cards are often made more “intentionally” than “intuitively.” You may want to make copies of actual photos to bring and use for your cards. Three hours for $39.00 with all materials provided.
