Biography

upon meeting people I am asked what I do. In my mind the answer is, I create, I search, I love, I forgive, I write, I garden, I farm, I teach, I heal, I learn, I share, I march forward, and so much more. My verbal answer is that I manage my household.

Who I am is different that what I do. I am an artist, a healer, a mother, a writer, a wife, a friend, a teacher, a farmer, a student, a volunteer, an explorer, a seeker, a SoulCollage® Facilitator, an Airbnb Super Host, a student of Holistic Herbalism, and so much more.

It is my belief that because we are undeniably amazing and diverse Creations we all have the power of Creative Energy in us. All capable of great things.

In most of what I do, I am self taught. If it interests me deeply enough and or it brings me a sense of healing and joy I explore it. Over my life I have had an interest in what I call the “old time arts”. Having taken several of them up over the years. Activities such as soap making, sewing, quilting, beading, cooking, animal husbandry, and others have been and are a big part of my life.

Being in the forest, on the beach, in the mountains, and on the lakes and rivers is very renewing for me. My soul feels bonded to the moss, the mushrooms, the ever changing forest floor, the horizon where the sea meet the sky and the fresh air. I enjoy taking a variety of art classes. Learning about and exploring color and how it affects us is fascinating to me.

Currently I am working on writing my life story. After 50 years in this lifetime it came to light that my dad was not my father. In a very brief time everything made sense. The processing goes on. My intention in gettting it all down is to understand myself and others on a deeper level. It is important for my children to know and understand who I am so they can better understand themselves and the parts of the journey we are on together.

Finding forgiveness and a deeper understanding of my walk this lifetime has given me an amazing sense of freedom. We all have our story, our walk, our journey and so much to learn within that time. To deny the learning and awareness is an insult to time.

Description of SoulCollage® work

Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards

My personal work with SoulCollage® started in the fall of 2015 when I was introduced to the process by a friend. I immediatly purchased the book 'SoulCollage® Evolving' and went to my first three hour group in Portland, OR.

In June of 2016 I attended a SoulCollage® weekend retreat at Breitenbush Hot Springs in the Detroit Lake area of Oregon. In December 2016 I returned to the same location for my second weekend SoulCollage® retreat. It has become my gift to Self to be at these events yearly. Surrounded by the beautiful location, soaking in the springs and digging into the depths of my Soul is such a blessing to share with community.  Using our own intuition the many bits and pieces of Soul can and have been brought to the surfice to celebrate.

On a daily basis I completes my Morning Pages ('The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron) and then choose a SoulCollage® card to speak for the day. It is suprising and arrousing to the Soul to see what surfaces. Taking a few minutes to journal about the card, and even going back to see what the card has expressed in the past is amazing.

  • Welcome to SoulCollage® @ TreeSong!

Discover Your Wisdom, Change Your World!

Over the coming months we will be guided to explore the bits and pieces of ourselves using the Four Suits that make up a SoulCollage® deck. Starting Sunday February 9th, 2020 we will meet monthly the second Sunday of the month.

    What is SoulCollage®?

SoulCollage® is an intuitive collage process for self-discovery and community.

People make their own decks of 5x8 collaged cards for their own personal use from images found in purchased or donated magazines, calendars, books, cards, personal photos, etc.

The SoulCollage® process helps people discover their unique inner/outer guides and challengers, and to explore and express their unique soul in its lightness as well as its shadow.

It is also fun to do, individually and in community!.

    Seena B. Frost ~ Founder of SoulCollage® 1932-2016

had the following to say about reading your cards:

"The intention of a SoulCollage® reading is to provide a way that our personal and powerful card images can actually speak aloud to us about important life questions. Images have a way of bypassing the chatter of our logical minds and nudging our deep Soul wisdom where intuitive answers can be found and spoken. Doing a reading in a supportive, small group is especially powerful because Souls love the silent embrace of witnesses."
