My love of photography, shapes, letters and images ultimately led me down the path to SoulCollage®.  I am a great lover of the creative process and a photographer who loves the power & story of images, which is of course why I fell in love with SoulCollage® in the first place! I am a Licensed Psychotherapist, SoulCollage® Facilitator & Trainer, a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and a Veriditas Trained Labyrinth Facilitator. I specialize in trauma resolution and psychospiritual transformation using integrated mind/body modalities and approaches.

I became a SoulCollage® Facilitator in 2012 and a Facilitator Trainer in November 2019. I have been facilitating public and private SoulCollage® groups and workshops in Florida and Kentucky. For 4 1/2 years I facilitated bi weekly therapeutic SoulCollage® groups at a male exclusive trauma/addiction treatment center in Delray, Florida.

I have a diverse business administration and mental health background which I have used collaboratively through the years in both my creative and clinical practices. I have been in my private clinical psychotherapy practice since 1995. My clinical background includes work with at risk adolescent girls, substance abuse & chemical dependency, trauma, maternal addiction and Hospice. Prior to my clinical therapeutic experience I did administrative work in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida and New York City.

    Would you enjoy or have you thought about sharing the amazing process of SoulCollage® with others?  Would you like to deepen your own personal SoulCollage® practice? Would you like to connect with others who are sharing the SoulCollage® process in the world?  Would you enjoy being a conduit of learning for those who wish to expand their own emotional and/or creative process? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this training might be for you!


    This SoulCollage® Facilitator Training is an intensive training that will give you further insight as well as an in depth understanding of the many ways to share SoulCollage® with individuals and in group settings.  You do not have to have any particular degree or professional qualifications to become a SoulCollage Facilitator, only a desire and interest in helping others connect with their inner wisdom through the use of images, intuition and imagination.  


    Facilitators of the SoulCollage® process come from various fields including therapists, educators, coaches, artists, clergy, labyrinth facilitators, spiritual directors, engineers, healers, nurses and other medical professionals.  They also come from every religion and spiritual tradition, every race, color, gender orientation and country. Making SoulCollage® cards is a great way to enrich, integrate and deepen many modalities and is used in conjunction with journaling, the labyrinth, yoga, writing, breathwork, drumming, the enneagram,  as well as in various settings such as hospice, spiritual and community centers, libraries, meditation organizations and treatment centers, support groups, organizations that depend on volunteers, or anywhere the soul purpose is healing and bringing people together in a meaningful way.


    By taking this important step and participating in this Training, you will learn what is needed to share the SouCollage® process with friends and family or to facilitate workshops or groups in your community. You will learn about the preparation needed to prepare for a group or workshop, how to create a safe space for all participants, how to do SoulCollage® readings as well as how to promote and market yourself as a Facilitator.  You will be given access to the rich and bountiful website and archive of information available to Facilitators which includes a world-wide network community of like-minded people with resources and connections that span 49 countries as of this writing! It will also provide you with the opportunity to bring attention to your own personal style and uniqueness as a Facilitator. There are some prerequisites listed below that must be completed before attending this Facilitator Training.  



    The July 8-12, 2020 training will be held at Plunge Beach Hotel https://www.plungebeachhotel.com/about-plunge-beach-hotel 4660 El Mar Drive, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida 33308.  The hotel is approximately 25 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Int. airport, 50 minutes from the Miami Intl Airport and 50 minutes from the West Palm Beach Airport.  The hotel is situated on the beautiful powdery white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Guest room, Suite and Bungalow accommodations at Plunge feature:

    • One king or two queen beds with pillow-top mattresses

    • Air Conditioning

    • Kitchenettes and dining areas (some rooms)

    • Furnished balcony (some rooms)

    • Clock radio with Bluetooth connectivity

    • 50” LED HD TV’s

    • All rooms are non-smoking

    • In-room safe (large enough for a laptop)*

    • Mini-fridge

    • Microwave (some rooms)

    • Iron and ironing board

    • Hairdryer

    Once you register for the training I will invite you to join a Facebook page for all registrants.  You can share a little about yourself on that private page and communicate with other attendees prior to the training.  You can also inquire about shared rides to and from the airport and use it as a venue in case you might look to share a room. 

    Please note - No meals will be provided during this training.  Beverages, water and snacks will be available all day, every day.  There are numerous options for meals and/or to buy food for your room or personal use during the Training. The food options at the hotel are:

    Note: The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street and within walking distance of a Publix Supermarket, Dunkin Donuts and First Watch Restaurant.  It is 0.5 miles to Commercial Blvd. where there are shops, cafes, restaurants and Anglin’s Fishing Pier. There are rent-a-bike bicycles available as well. 


    Please note that this Training is somewhat fast-paced and we cover a lot of territory in a relatively short period of time. During a “retreat” experience, participants tend to enjoy extended windows of time for quiet and contemplation.  This is a SoulCollage® training and is not intended to be a retreat. Please come well rested and prepared to learn. This Training has been condensed as much as possible to make it affordable and time efficient, so the material is covered over a tighter window of time where every minute in sessions is essential.  You will see from the schedule that it compromises 24 hours of instruction and that we make use of the entire day. We will begin Wednesday evening and end by noon on Sunday. Participants must be on time and attend all sessions to receive the Facilitator Certificate of Completion. Because of the intensive nature of Facilitator Training, and because fulfilling all of the Training hours are required for the certificate, it is suggested that you stay at the hotel (unless you live fairly close) to avoid any unpredictable transportation, traffic or time attendance problems or challenges.

    The Training Schedule includes 24 hours of required instruction. You must be on time and attend all sessions to receive your Certificate of Completion or to call yourself a SoulCollage® Facilitator and groups SoulCollage® Groups. Please make your travel plans to permit your attendance at all sessions.  In this Training, after the first evening, evenings on the schedule will be optional card-making and/or free time. 

    The SoulCollage® process was originally designed and evolved as an adult activity.  If you are interested in working with children, please read the SoulCollage® Inc. policy about working with children before registering for this Training https://www.soulcollage.com/working-with-childrenIn order to insure the protection of children, SoulCollage® Facilitators who are not licensed clinicians or qualified teachers, or other specialists working with children within schools, or under the direct supervision of teachers working with the schools or under the direct observation/supervision of a licensed clinician with parental permission, SoulCollage® Facilitators are advised not to work with collage and/or emotional expression with children who are not their own children.


    Although there are no degrees or certifications necessary to take this Training, in order for everyone to enter the Training with similar basic experience, it is required  that all participants prepare and be familiar with the SoulCollage® Principles http://www.soulcollage.com/principles-of-soulcollage and SoulCollage® FAQ https://www.soulcollage.com/faq before attending a Facilitator Training.   Prerequisites serve registrants' time and investment as well as the other trainees and colleagues with whom Training is shared.  If you decide to sign up for this Training, please schedule your time to complete these prerequisites.     What to Bring:

    • Your SoulCollage® Deck - As many cards as you're able to bring with you, that you've completed so far, and even those in progress.  You should have at least four cards in each Suit (except for Companions Suit, just one card in that Suit will suffice).  That's at least 13 cards. (If you have many cards and you are flying, just bring a subset of the ones that want to come with you.) You can also download your deck to the SoulCollage® app and access your cards through the app.  You do not need to bring images as those will be provided. If you are using 5 x 8 inch cards there will be blank cards provided. If your cards are another size, bring some blanks. Glue and scissors will be provided, but you can bring your own if you have special ones you like. If you prefer using an Exacto or precision knife, please bring it along with your own healing mat to work on. (Don’t pack scissors or knives in your carry-on luggage!). Also, if you have an Ott light or a light for use during the evening cardmaking free time, bring that along as well.

    • Card Making Supplies - You will be provided with a glue stick, a dozen blank cards and sleeves, a card-making frame, a pen, and access to scissors.  Feel free to bring any other tools that you like to use. Please refrain from bringing and using rubber cement during this weekend due to the fumes that might affect others. If your cards are not the standard 5x8 cards, bring blanks for your own card making.

    • Your SoulCollage® Evolving Book - You might find this useful during one of our sessions, but it’s not mandatory to have it with you.  However, it is mandatory that you have read it before you come!

    • Your journal or a blank notebook - For note-taking and/or SoulCollage® writings/readings with your cards.​ I personally find it helpful to have separate notebooks - one for workshop info and one for my card readings.

    • Comfortable clothing - We will be sitting for long stretches of time.  Please bring along clothing you need to make yourself comfortable.    Check your weather app before travel. Florida can have unexpected rain showers during the summer months so plan accordingly.  Since we are in a hotel setting room temps may fluctuate so plan accordingly. There is a great walking area along the road/beach by the hotel so bring walking shoes in case you want to enjoy walking during your time here.

    • Alarm clock or cell phone alarm-  The Training is an intensive immersion program, we recommend giving yourself extra time in the morning to be ready to begin promptly at the designated start time.  Being on time is essential.  

    • Ear plugs might be on your list as necessary.

    • Water bottle - Pitchers of water will be provided by the hotel.

    • Bring snacks for any special food requirements.  I will have snacks, but if you need something specific, please bring along with you.

    • No Scented Products - Please do not wear perfumes or scented body products during our weekend as some in the group may be sensitive to fragrance.

    A deposit of $300 is payable to reserve your space in this Training. Space is limited.  Please read the cancellation policy below before registering.

    The balance of all fees is due no later than May 6, 2020 at midnight. If registering on or after May 7, 2020 the full amount is due at the time of registration.





    Trained SoulCollage® Facilitators who would like to refresh their skills are offered a 20% discount off the base Tuition/Training cost of the 24 hour Training Fee. Trained Facilitators wishing to attend a Training to refresh their skills are required to be current SoulCollage®  Facilitator Circle members. The Training has evolved considerably over the years, and we know those who have taken the Training a second time, at a different point in their lives, have had a new and rewarding experience, both personally and professionally.     Cancellation Policy: 


    Through June 2, 2020 at midnight ~ A full refund of any monies paid, less a $150 processing fee is available. 


    On or after June 3, 2020 ~ No refund or credit is given for cancellations, if you fail to attend,  if you leave the event early or if you miss any part of a session and cannot receive a certificate .  For a $100 administrative fee you may change your registration to a Training offered by Judy within a year of the original Training date.  If the Training fee is increased from the fee charged at the training that was cancelled, you will pay the difference between the new fee and your payment on account.


    Judy reserves the right to cancel any training for any reason.  In the event of such unlikely cancellation, Judy will send registrants a full refund of all monies paid immediately upon notification of cancellation, and accepts no additional liability for travel costs or any other additional costs incurred.


    Certificate of Completion

    If you want to use SoulCollage® in your work, you must prepare for, be on time and complete all sessions of the Facilitator Training. Those who are late or do not complete a session will not become SoulCollage® Facilitators. They will not receive CEs or a completion certificate.

    SoulCollage® trains, rather than "certifies," Facilitators.  Individuals who complete all sessions of the SoulCollage® Training will receive a Certificate of Completion and may use the SoulCollage® trademark in doing SoulCollage® individual or group work according to the Principles of SoulCollage®.

    Continuing Education Credits

    The CE fee charged by SoulCollage Inc. is $25 for the 24 CE hours of credit for one professional license/person. That fee is due at the time of registration and is not refundable. See further CE information below.

    Art Therapists 

    The ATCB (Art Therapy Credentials Board) has for a long time accepted SoulCollage® Institute and SoulCollage Facilitator Training CEs for continuing education credit for ATR-BCs, because these courses were accepted for continuing education credits by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences mental health licensure board (and are now approved to be awarded through CAMFT in California). Participants who need CEs for ATR-BC licenses, please check the ATCB requirements. 


    CEs for several licenses in most states for the SoulCollage® Facilitator Training​

    CEs in other states may be available PENDING APPROVAL by the granting agency. If you are interested, please inquire at training@soulcollage.com about CEs. You can check online to see if your license and state are covered. Your  Trainer's Application must be submitted for these CEs at least three weeks in advance of the Training start date. Licenses that may be covered include: LMFT, LCSW, LPC, CPC, LPHC, and some other Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Nurses, and Psychologists. 

    The entire course in this Training is eligible for CEs as above, except for mealtimes and other breaks. Please contact the administration if you have concerns or grievances.

    SoulCollage® Facilitator Training Goals:

    • Prepare therapists to facilitate SoulCollage® competently and confidently with clients (as individuals clients, in groups, and in workshops.)

    • Demonstrate to therapists how to use intuition and
      imagination (utilizing images, gestalt, and community support in the SoulCollage® method) to help clients find meaning and guidance for their lives.

    • Demonstrate to therapists the benefits to clients of making and using SoulCollage® cards and to be able to explain and facilitate this method with clients they assess as prospective beneficiaries of the method and to identify in what ways a client might need encouragement to best utilize the method.

    Professionals will learn:

    • To compile appropriate art therapy materials for SoulCollage® work, so that the client may fully utilize the method to identify images that have meaning for him or herself and create collaged cards from those images.

    • To describe and demonstrate how SoulCollage® utilizes intuition and imagination to help clients guide their lives, by using the cards in a gestalt process.

    • Ethical principles (scope of competence, scope of practice, safety, non-exploitation of clients, dual relationship) apply to work conducted with the SoulCollage® method.

    • To assess which clients might benefit from SoulCollage® and to create a safe container for clients doing SoulCollage® work in individual or group sessions.

    • To prepare a safe and welcoming container for a client from any ethnicity, sexual preference group, gender or religion.
