Biography

I am a Life Coach, and a teacher of spiritual practices as SoulCollage®, writing, meditation, and Reiki. I assist others to go to that deep place where they tap their Inner Knowing and High Self. I have a Doctorate in Professional and Organization Development and have a twenty-five year career in the field of training and college teaching. Currently I enjoy being a LIFE COACH and a Leadership Coach. In addition I create works of art by painting and dying on silk. I love to work with individuals as they grow, change, and evolve in their own way. My life journey has integrated the study and practice of traditional professional development with a rich blend of holistic learning.

Description of SoulCollage® work

I work with individuals as a spiritual life coach, and with small groups engaged in personal growth at Evergreen, A Center for Balanced Living in Easton, Maryland. I offer workshops at locations such as Bon Secours Spiritual Center in Marriottsville, Maryland. I facilitate writing groups, SoulCollage® groups, and seminars on meditation and personal growth. I am an approved provider of CE’s for Massage Therapists. In addition, I teach Health and Wellness Coaching in a graduate certificate program at the Maryland University of Integrative Health.

Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards

I have always been very visual, a photographer by avocation, an artist in my heart, so SoulCollage® was perfect. Images choose me, and my inner artist/intuitive is released. I continue to grow and learn, creating cards, doing readings, and letting the images speak to me. I love working with others in the “I Am the One Who...” process. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I am amazed and grateful for the wisdom of the Soul. My initial cards were idealized images--in fact, the first card I made was “the healthy one” an antidote and inspiration that pulled me out of an illness. Since that time I have opened up to all kinds of images, happy, sad, shadowy, inspirational. I embrace my companions, committee members, council and community and am constantly surprised at their wisdom. I realized recently that growing up I was surrounded by women family members who read cards; later I carried their legacy through Tarot card readings; and now I create my own cards. What a delight to be on this spiritual path and to continue to tap the inner knowing of the Soul.
