Description of SoulCollage® work

I have a deck of of more than 90 SoulCollage® cards which I cherish. I published Seena Frost's SoulCollage® books and CDs through our company, Hanford Mead Publishers, Inc. and now enjoy tremendously my work with Jim at SoulCollage Inc. Our work together supports the international community of SoulCollage® Facilitators and connects us with the many wonderful people throughout the world who are creating this SoulCollage® community through shared leadership.

Trainer Statement

My first experience of making cards at Seena's house in 1998 was deeply satisfying. I felt I had made meaning for myself with art, that I had "nailed" something that had been previously inexpressible with words by collaging those first few cards. I wanted to talk from them, show my friends what I had done, and just look at them a lot. It made me happy to have these cards and know they would be growing from a few cards into a large and diverse SoulCollage® deck.

My partner in work and life, Jim Schofield, and I immediately asked Seena if we could publish her "book." She said YES! The three of us worked for three years, writing, editing, and gathering images, and introduced the world to SoulCollage® in 2001.

I have never encountered any process that is so easy and fun, yet so capable of being as deep and profound as one needs it to be. As a practice it can and does transform and empower lives. I have watched SoulCollage® at work with people since 1998. Making cards and reading them honors people, changes them, makes them more of who they were meant to be, connects them to the healer within, and lets them create more intimacy in relationship within small community groups or with the people to whom they choose to show their cards. All the while they are having fun and working with a very satisfying and absorbing collage process that anyone can do.

Personal work with own SoulCollage® cards

I've made SoulCollage® cards since that workshop in Seena's living room in 1998. It was my love of and satisfaction with this personal process that moved us to publish the book and to build a community which nurtures and spreads the wonderful work of our Founder Seena B. Frost. My days are often full with administrative SoulCollage® tasks, but I love it when I can take time out to make and share cards with close friends, family, and, especially, with my grandchildren. I now use the SoulCollage® App on my iPhone to draw cards from my deck daily.
