Biography

Reet follows a creative intuitive interfaith path. She is currently pursuing interfaith ordination through the Chaplaincy Institute in Berkeley, while working in art and new Media production with www.maeproductionsinc.com.  Reet completed her facilitator training with Seena Frost, at her only Canadian training through the Sacred Wisdom Centre in Guelph Ontario, in September 2012, updated with Mariabruna in June 2014. Reet has pursued her interest in the shadow by attending workshops on the shadow including one with Seena and Mariabruan in San Rafael, and others in Ontario. Reet's interest is in the intersection of creativity with spiritual awareness and particularly in women's spirituality and acknowledging both light and shadow.

Reet is an artist, independent scholar, certified interfaith Spiritual Director and trained SoulCollage® facilitator, whose work focuses on self-compassion and holistic healing of intergenerational trauma through creative activities and movement practice.  Reet is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, (Patterns of Freedom, Raising the Flag) exploring her Estonian/Finno-Ugric heritage, using creative processes to identify and address ancestral and personal trauma.

Description of SoulCollage® work

A former textile artist, whose work hangs in several settings, including the chapel of Tyndale University and the Toronto School of Theology,  Reet is passionate about SoulCollage® as a medium to access our own deep inner knowledge, skills, creativity and divinity. Reet's use of her personal SoulCollage® cards has enabled her to pursue some deep healing and explore through the use of images her own life transitions and woundings.  Her deepest desire is to journey with others as they explore the joys and sorrows of their lives through intuition and imagry. Reet is happy to bring the SoulCollage® process to your home, for individual or small group introductory sessions to SoulCollage® anywhere in the greater Toronto Area.  Please contact her for further information or visit her website for more details about her.
